It was on May 7, 1994, when the competitors gathered in Tábor for the start of the 49th edition of the famous Peace Race, competing in nine stages between Tábor and Turnov, over a distance of 1354 km. To mark the 30th anniversary of the start of the Tábor stage, we have created limited edition jerseys in a retro design made of functional merino material. The white dove badge, short zipper, and wool knit are features that echo the style of kit worn in early editions of the largest amateur bicycle race in Eastern Europe, in its time nicknamed the Tour de France of the East. Embroidered badge
The ironed-on embroidered badge is a reference to the Peace Race and is an imitation of the white dove badge that for decades was the symbol of the race.
Main material - MERINO
This fine merino wool is an extremely versatile material that offers a wide range of functional properties. Thanks to its thermoregulating ability, it creates an ideal microclimate around the body, meaning that you will stay warm in winter and cool in summer. At the same time, it can effectively wick away sweat and retain dryness. Wool is also antibacterial, protects against UV rays and is naturally elastic thanks to the structure of its fibres, which can stretch up to 30% and return to their original shape. These properties, even after repeated wear, make it an ideal material for use in comfortable bike wear.
