KALAS Sportswear are delighted to confirm a new three year contract with Corendon-Circus. The Belgian cyclo-cross team, previously operating under the name Beobank-Corendon, features Mathieu van der Poel, one of the greatest stars of contemporary cycling. This versatile bike racer has ambitious plans for the next three years. Kalas are proud to support will him along this challenging journey.

Mathieu van der Poel explained his plan:

"For the next three seasons I will compete in cyclo-cross and mountain biking. My target is to become mountain bike world champion, and get the mountain bike gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. After the 2020 season my focus will switch to road.“

Kalas Sportswear Executive Director Josef Filip said:

"Following our previous major steps, such as signing the Great Britain Cycling Team and our first participation in the Tour de France last year with the Wanty - Groupe Gobert, this confirms our company as a global player, ranking among the biggest brands in our field."

Ondřej Vobora, of the Kalas Sportswear marketing department said:

"We have been working to secure this signature for two years, so I am personally very happy that we have agreed on mutual cooperation and our company will be supplying all the team, as well as a star like Mathieu. We are already looking forward to the many activities that we will deliver together.”

On signing the contract, Philip Roodhooft, General Manager of Corendon-Circus said:
